Founded in 1951, and together with its predecessors, Citizens Gas has served southeastern Michigan for more than 170 years. Today, the company provides natural gas services to approximately 18,000 residential, commercial, and industrial customers in and around Adrian, Michigan.
Citizens Gas headquarters are located at 127 N. Main Street, Adrian, Michigan 49221. The company conducts all of its operations within the State of Michigan. Its rates are regulated by the Adrian Gas Rate Commission, while various aspects of its operations are subject to oversight by the Michigan Public Service Commission.
